✭ WHAT IS CONSPECIFICS?

Conspecifics is a collaboration between designer Tiff Bushka and illustrator Liby Hays. It is a media archeological clothing and accessories brand that brings together 2000s Japanese streetwear and 1990s-2000s electronic edutainment, trompe l’œils and other tricks. Our ambitions are to create cute, wearable and detailed objects while incorporating a “rabbit’s warren” of paratextual research. This Collection, Spooky Action at A Cost, includes lolita/Victorian inspired elements such as lace trimmings, silhouettes and etched parerga, along with Amekaji Gyaru-like pop graphic elements.
